DEVELOP is a Konica Minolta owned brand, DEVELOP provides printer solutions at an entry-level price point, which means the products and services are “more out of the box” than the Konica Minolta brand.

Develop brand identity design

Since its acquisition in 2012 the DEVELOP brand had remained unchanged, components were outdated compared to competitors. Stakeholders, customers and distributors didn’t relate to the old DEVELOP brand.

It was time for a change.

Our task was to breathe new life into DEVELOP, to maintain the name and use of red, but to overhaul how the brand was conveyed to distributors and customers. With the strapline 'Powering smarter business', and a brand mission to take the complexity out of print solutions through local expertise and accessible products, we devised an identity and tone of voice that was worthy of an alternative digital solutions provider.
