STIHL's American marketing team came to Indicia dissatisfied with their incumbent agency, they were looking for to refresh their visual identity. Authenticity was key, they wanted an approach that chimed with their customers – homeowner and professional alike. A solution that conveyed the sometime gritty realism, that reflected scenarios their hard-working customers experienced with STIHL products.

Our approach was to show Stihl tools in the hands of real people who rely on them every day, paired with bold statements, expressed in a typographic treatment designed to signify the reliable, pioneering engineering that epitomises their product.
